Rosanne graduated from Radford University with a degree in elementary art education and art history. She taught art for one year before marrying. She and her husband, Bob, have five children and 14 grandchildren.
After her last child, Rosanne obtained a master's degree in education with a major in special education. She taught in various states over a 30-year span, eventually retiring to a 37-foot ketch for a year of sailing and adventuring with her husband.
Rosanne's introduction to pottery came in 2003, when she and her husband relocated to Cary to be near their family. After a handbuilding class at Jordan Hall Art Center, Rosanne was hooked. She's passionate about pottery as a hobby, finding it to be both relaxing and challenging.
In 2008, Rosanne's hobby became a business, Limits Keep Pottery. Her work is featured at Gifts with a Heart, Swift Creek, Cary; Epona & Oak, Blake Street, Raleigh; The Lemon Tree, Main Street, Wake Forest; Studio B Gallery in Fayetteville, WV and The Leaping Lizard in Virginia Beach, VA. She also participates with Cary Clay Coop at Spring Daze and Lazy Daze.
