Lois  Brucker

 

Lois  retired from 30 years of teaching elementary school in Philadelphia and  moved to Cary almost three years ago. An art student most of her life,  she attended such schools as Tyler School Of Art (a division of Temple  University) and The Moore College Of Art, where she got her certification  as an art teacher.

Lois  has been a potter for 15 years, currently working out of the studio  she set up in her “Pink House,” where she lives and teaches  art classes. She specializes in mermaids, which are selling at venues  including the Seagrove Pottery Store in Raleigh’s Cameron Village,  and Unburied Treasure on Topsail Island. Lois also regularly shows her  work at area arts and crafts shows, including Cary’s Spring Daze  and Raleigh’s Artsplosure.
