Brenda is a native North Carolinian who has lived in Wake County for 25 years. An art lover her entire life, Brenda graduated from UNC-CH with a degree in art, with a concentration in painting and drawing. Then about 3 years ago, Brenda took her first pottery class at Jordan Hall Arts Center and she was hooked. This first ceramics course translated into many more, and she is now a pottery instructor at Jordan Hall. This reintroduction to the arts also inspired Brenda to return to college for a degree in art education with a concentration in…you guessed it…ceramics and 3D art. Brenda is now teaching Art in the Wake County School System.
